HOGAN
The sound of multiple guitars comes from one extraordinary axeman, acclaimed veteran NYC guitar player Joe Hogan. Hogan is also a producer, recording and sound engineer who has made some of the heaviest music working with such bands as Atomic Bitchwax, Nebula, Helmet and Chrome Locust. He designed the highly coveted Analog Mafia poly driver boost pedal. His production credits include the Sabbath Warlock recordings.
LEESA
On the drums is the heavy hitting powerhouse, Leesa Harrington-Squyres. Hailing from Houston,TX, she is an award winning musician who began her professional career at the age of 15. She has toured with Carolyn Wonderland (John Mayall's Bluesbreakers) and a number of blues greats including Milton Hopkins, Trudy Lynn and Lavelle White. She is noted for her drumming in the world-renowned all-female tribute Lez Zeppelin. Leesa was also a long term member of the iconic Texas band Josefus who have been dubbed “The Lost Pioneers of Heavy Metal". You can’t get more authentic than that!
GYDA
Gyda Gash made her imprint in the heavy music scene playing bass in the seminal doom band Man's Ruin Recording artist Angel Rot, the brainchild of White Zombie axe man, Tom Five. Gash is also the bassist in The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black with the legendary Kembra Pfahler. She is the founder and bassist of the acclaimed all female tribute band, Judas Priestess. “Sabbath Warlock is giving me the opportunity to return to writing and playing my own music in the style that truly speaks to my soul."
MARK
Born in Atlanta, GA, frontman Mark Mitchell sings with the kind of raw, blue-eyed soul that stops people cold. His gritty vocal style complements the heavy, downtuned sound of Sabbath Warlock. His influences run deep - Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan, Otis Redding, Janis Joplin - and his stage presence channels the magnetic intensity of Phil Lynott and Ozzy Osbourne. He once shared a stage with the legendary Screamin' Jay Hawkins, an encounter that speaks volumes about the untamed energy he brings to every performance. Mark pours his passion for politics and the human condition into lyrics that probe the deepest existential questions. Mark Mitchell doesn't just sing. He conjures.
